A typical Spanish dish:Potatoes to the poor with egg and peppers

Primero pelamos las patatas y cuando estén peladas las lavamos con un poco de agua,después lavamos los pimientos y cuando ya estén lavados ,ponemos una sartén en el fuego y le echamos un poco de aceite para freir las patatas,las dejamos casi 10 minutos o menos hasta que las veamos hechas y listas para comer,ponemos otra sartén al fuego y ahí echamos los pimientos durante unos 6 o 8 minutos ,ya hechas las patatas preparamos el huevo y lo rompemos para que caiga en una nueva sartén también con un poco de aceite ,le echamos un poco de sal por encima,lo dejamos hasta que ya lo vemos listo.
Al acabar de hacer los pimientos, las patatas y el huevo,ya tenemos hecho el almuerzo de hoy:Patatas a lo pobre con pimientos y huevo,una de nuestras recetas tradicionales.



The momos are empanadillas that can be eaten in different states, fried or steamed.

For the mass:
3 cups wheat flour
Water 1 pinch of salt.

 For the filling:
1 cup finely chopped vegetables (spinach, mushrooms, carrots ...)
1/2 potato cooked and crushed with a fork
1/2 onion chopped
1 bunch of chives, green part, cut into strips
2 cloves garlic
The equivalent of 1 dinte garlic in very chopped ginger
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro.


Ingredients for 6 people:

600 grams of rice
400 grams of chicken meat
300 grams of pork
250 grams of prawns
200 grams of mussels
250 grams of mixture of green beans and flat beans
1 small sepia
1 can of fried or crushed tomato
1 red pepper
½ onion
1 tablespoon sweet paprika
1 tablespoon of food coloring or 1/3 tablespoon of saffron
1 clove garlic Salt
Virgin olive oil.



1 salmon of two kilos or so
2 cans of salt (Buy in the market)
2 tablespoons dill

Extra virgin olive oil.

Typical Spanish dish


Ingredients(for 4 people):

- 1Kg of ripe tomatoes.
-2 small green peppers.
-2 garlic cloves.
-100g of bread.
-4 tablespoons soups of extra virgin olive oil.
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar.
-Water(what you want).
-A egg boiled.


In a bowl, whisk the bread (previously soaked) and the vegetables chopped with the oil, vinegar, salt and water as desired. Then, beats everything and the dish is ready to eat.

Typical spanish dish: Omelette

Spanish Omelette

This classic Spanish dish is very versatile and quick to whip up. The tortilla (or Spanish omelette) can be served hot or cold and is a fantastic way to use up all kinds of ingredients.


        500g  potato

    150ml extra-virgin olive oil

    2 eggs

 Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 to 25 minutes

  • How to Make an Spanish Omelette

Scrape the potatoes or leave the skins on, if you prefer. Cut them into thick slices.

Heat the oil in a large frying pan, add the potatoes and stew gently, partially covered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until the potatoes are softened. Strain the potatoes  through a colander into a large bowl (set the strained oil aside).

Beat the eggs separately, then stir into the potatoes. Heat a little of the strained oil in a smaller pan. Tip everything into the pan and cook on a moderate heat.

When almost set, invert on a plate and slide back into the pan and cook a few more minutes. Invert twice more, cooking the omelette briefly each time and pressing the edges to keep the cushion shape. Slide on to a plate and cool for 10 minutes before serving.





The Chana Masala is a typical dish of northern India in which its main ingredient is the chickpea. It is a very spicy dish with a rather acidic taste. It is very popular mainly in Panyab, consumed in the northwest of India, of Guyarat and Sind.

The dish consists mainly of chickpeas, onions, diced tomatoes, curcuma, coriander seeds, garlic, chiles and ginger.


In Europe, smoked salmon is prepared mainly from the Salmo salar species from salmon farming in Norway, Scotland or Ireland, while in North America it is mainly produced on the east coast of Canada . Salmon farming also recently developed in Chile, being the second largest producer in the world.

The ingredients are:1 loin of salmon,1 packet of smoked salt, Oil, Dill 


It is an omelette with potatoes, although you can also add more ingredients like onion. 
It is one of the best known dishes. 

The ingredients are:
6 eggs,
3 potatoes,
1 small onion,
1 green pepper,
2 glasses of olive oil,  a pinch of  salt 
and a leaf of parseley.




The biryani is a dish of rice from Pakistani cuisine and Indian cuisine made with a mixture of spices as well as basmati rice, meat / vegetables and yogurt. There are many varieties of biryani and each type has its unique characteristics.

The biryani has an uncertain origin, some authors indicate its possible Persian origin because the denomination of the plate comes from Persian beryān that means "fried before cooking".
FROM NORWAY: Reindeer meat
The venison can be eaten in fillets, turnós, roasts, sausages, in cecina or chopped. It tastes like veal. It tends to have a finer texture and be leaner than equivalent cuts of veal,but can also be hard.
Deer leg over apple sauce with ball and vegetables.

 It is a dish of humble origin, described for the first time in Spain in the Albufera area of Valencia.

The popularity of this dish has made it, at present, has expanded with a lot of variants adapted in the ingredients to the various regions of Spanish cuisine. The paella has become one of the icons of the Spanish gastronomy.

Lamb is also a typical Norwegian food,
considered one of the best meats in the world.
The pastures where sheep and lambs feed and the climate and
the low pollution of the country,
make lamb meat a pleasure for the senses.

The ribs or lamb chops are very typical at Christmas time.
And, moreover, there is a dish for the less scrupulous: the smalahove.


The samosas, possibly the most international Indian food,
are a kind of empanadillas stuffed with potatoes, onions,
peas and other vegetables, seasoned with cumin and spicy,
although we can also eat stuffed chicken.




It is a traditional cold soup that can be found in
different regions of Spain like Extremadura,
Andalucía or Castilla-La Mancha. The most popular
is the Andalusian that is made, among other ingredients with tomatoes,
peppers and garlic.
Besides being healthy it is an example of our Mediterranean diet.
